Educational Philosophy
Our childcare program is designed to provide a safe, loving, nurturing and fun place where children from birth to 5 years can grow and develop. It is our desire to serve families in the greater Brea community by providing child care that promotes physical and emotional well-being, as well as an excellent learning environment for the young child.
The class structure and curriculum are child centered and developmentally age appropriate. They allow for exploration and creativity, and provide the child with opportunities to develop socially, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. We endeavor to work with the public school system to prepare the child for a successful ‘kindergarten and beyond’ school experience.
We believe parent involvement is crucial to the child’s well being and development. For this reason, teachers are in constant communication with parents regarding their child’s progress. Parents are also encouraged to volunteer in their child’s classroom during holidays parties and other special activities. Because parents play a vital role in building the self esteem of their children, we provide opportunities throughout the school year whereby children make presentations for their loved ones, and are given an opportunity to shine.
Our qualified, caring staff values, loves and respects each child and considers the oversight of these children a sacred trust given to us by their parents and guardians. As a faith based center, we endeavor to demonstrate God’s love to every child and their family by word and deed. We are committed to provide the highest quality care and education we can offer as we serve the families in our community.
